Our clients
Schools that already trust the School Supply Service with their lists.
For parents
The service is for the parents of your school. Here is what they get.
Voluntary service
We ask the school for no exclusivity, and every parent remains free to shop wherever they like.
Delivery, your way
To the home, or grouped delivery to the school: you choose the delivery method that suits your community.
Simple terms
An order preparation fee of $8.99 per order, reduced to $4.99 when the school chooses grouped delivery. Free home delivery on orders of $100 or more.
Everything in one place
Éditions Vaudreuil is an accredited bookstore, in business since 1965. School supplies, textbooks and required novels in the same order.
Terms for schools joining the service for 2027.
A rebate supports your community
A percentage of school supply sales goes to the school, its parent organization or its foundation, on a tiered scale. The rate of the tier reached applies to all of the season's sales, and in the first year the school receives at least 4%, whatever the volume. The rebate is paid once a year, in the fall.
Estimate your rebate
You enter your own numbers; nothing is pre-filled.

Frequently asked questions
The questions principals and school offices ask us most often.
We already have a supplier.
We ask for no exclusivity. Several schools offer the service as one more option for parents. The meeting lets you compare, with the tool in front of you.
We don't want to push a retailer on parents.
The service is voluntary: every parent stays free to shop wherever they like. The school simply makes a convenient option available.
This has to go to the governing board.
Claude prepares a one-page summary for the board, and can come and answer questions on the evening of the meeting.
Our teachers insist on specific items.
They choose for themselves in the catalogue, item by item, with the exact quantities. If an item isn't there, we first suggest an equivalent. If there isn't one, or if it doesn't suit the teacher, we add the item on request.
Will the $8.99 fee bother parents?
It's a fixed preparation fee per order, and home delivery is free on orders of $100 or more. If the school chooses grouped delivery, the fee drops to $4.99 per order.
Is it more expensive than the big-box stores?
We did the comparison: the average basket is comparable. Some items are cheaper elsewhere, others are cheaper with us, and in the end it evens out. What we offer is the service.
It's the wrong time of year.
Lists are built in the spring. We can settle everything now in twenty minutes, and your team doesn't think about it again until April.
Who answers parents if something goes wrong?
We do. Parents write to us by email, text or chat, and we handle their file directly. The school office doesn't have to get involved.
How is the rebate paid?
Once a year, in the fall, when the season is closed: by cheque or bank transfer, with a statement showing the sales and the rate applied. You name the recipient in the agreement: the school, its parent organization or its foundation.
What if few parents order in the first year?
In the first year, the school receives 4% from the first dollar, even below the first tier. After that the scale applies, and the more parents use the school's link, the higher the rate.
Which sales count?
School supply sales from orders attached to your school, net of refunds. Textbooks and novels are not part of the calculation. The simplest way is to share the direct link to your school's page with parents.

How it works
Three steps, and your team doesn't think about it again until the following spring.
1. Your team builds the list once
In our online tool, your teachers pick the items for each grade, with the exact quantities. The principal approves, and that's it.
You will be among the first schools notified when the list-building tool opens. Until then, Claude shows you the tool with one of your own lists.
Notify me when the list tool opens2. Parents order online
The list is published on your school's page. Parents put school supplies, textbooks and required novels in a single order, prepared from the teacher's list.
3. We answer parents
Their questions come to us: our customer service answers them directly, by email, text and chat. The school office doesn't have to get involved.
